AEX Formal After All

This last saturday night I finally got to go to the AEX formal. I'm friends with most of the guys in this housing group, for they are great guys, but i've never had a chance to go to the formal. So this last saturday, i went to the AEX formal with my friend Taylor Knight- it was a great time. A big group of us that are friends were all there together, so it was much fun. We had dinner at a place a little south of Pittsburgh called 'peter's place.' And then we went downtown and went ice skating at PPG. For those of you who don't know downtown Pittsburgh, PPG is this corporate park downtown where all the buildings are black and have turrets and look slightly gothic. in the middle of all these is a circular ice rink. At christmas time there is a big christmas tree in the middle of the rink, but in February it was just a large statue of some kind (don't ask me, i don't know). I'm not the most gifted at skating, i've never had a good track record considering that my first time roller skating i broke a boys nose. Also, Taylor had never been ice skating-- regardless, he was very good compared to me and ended up pulling me along the whole time. The pictures on the right are Taylor and me when we are dressed up, and then before we got on the ice. We were matching in our dress coats and cable-knit hats-- in this picture we both put on each other's cable knit hats and took a picture. we also both made faces at the camera without knowing the other did.
